John was very helpful and quick to respond, the treats left in the cottage were a lovely touch. The cottage itself is so gorgeous and has everything you would need! Walsham Le Willows

This pretty village with a river winding next to the high street with weeping willow trees hanging over, is a quintessentially English village.

Within walking distance of your chocolate box holiday cottage are two pubs including the Blue Boar and a gorgeous fine food shop, selling everything from meats, cheeses, game, wine, bread, and vegetables to newspapers and all the essentials you would look for from a traditional old world village shop.

The community is within easy day trip to the Suffolk coast, the Norfolk Broads, and the historic town of Bury St Edmunds and city of Norwich.

Getting around

There is a bus stop in the village and local taxi firms serve the community well.

We also higher bicycles for our guests on request to explore the local pretty area.

Within approximately 30 minutes drive is an intercity railway line from Norwich to London with an hourly service, and more frequently during commuter hours, which also calls at Diss, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Manningtree and Colchester terminating at London Liverpool Street.
